Safety Barriers WA was the sole installer of the largest single safety barrier installation EVER in Western Australia, the new Perth – Bunbury Highway! This project took over 15 months to complete on schedule!

The Perth Bunbury highway project (known as Forrest Highway) was a major construction project that made a direct route between Perth and the South West. The upgrade reduced travel time to motorists by up to 35 minutes while improving safety with a new dual carriageway road.

Safety Barriers WA supplied and installed over:

• 15 kms of Thrie and W-Beam Barriers
• 11 kms of wire rope
• 5 kms of bridge railing for the 19 new bridges that were built on the project.
